Motorist and Transgender Persons Clash in Defence Area
Lahore, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Sep, 2026) A heated exchange between a young man travelling in a car and a group of transgender persons escalated into a physical altercation in the Defence area, with a video of the incident circulating on social media, here on Saturday.
According to police, the altercation began when the transgender persons allegedly asked the young man for money. Police stated that the young man responded abusively and physically assaulted one of the transgender individuals, prompting a counterattack from those present.
A video shared online depicts both sides engaged in a scuffle. Defence-B police station took action upon receiving reports and initiated legal proceedings against the involved parties.
