NA-168 Bahawalpur By-Election: RPO Inspects Polling Stations
UrduPoint (September 27, 2026) - Regional Police Officer (RPO) Bahawalpur, Ghazi Salahuddin, visited various polling stations across the city and reviewed security arrangements during the NA-168 by-election.
According to an official press release, during these visits, the RPO instructed police officers and personnel deployed on election duty to perform their responsibilities with honesty, dedication, and a strong sense of duty.
He stated that foolproof security arrangements had been put in place at all polling stations and that no unauthorized persons were being allowed to enter the polling premises. The RPO urged voters to exercise their democratic right peacefully at their respective polling stations, assuring them of adequate security measures. He further noted that polling was continuing peacefully and appreciated the citizens of Bahawalpur for their discipline and order throughout the electoral process.
He directed police personnel to remain completely neutral and discharge their duties with honesty, professionalism, and responsibility.
