New Animal Operation Theatre Becomes Operational at Jauharabad Hospital
SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Aug, 2026) | Parlamentary Secretary for Livestock Punjab, Sardar Asim Sher Maken inaugurated an animal operation theatre at the Civil Veterinary Hospital Jauharabad today, providing surgical facilities to livestock farmers.
Addressing the ceremony, Maken stated that the establishment of veterinary hospitals and advanced surgical facilities across the province is happening on the Chief Minister of Punjab's directives. He emphasized that this initiative ensures timely diagnosis and surgical treatment, bringing improved veterinary care closer to farmers.
He further highlighted provincial initiatives for farmers' welfare, including the Chief Minister's Livestock Card and the Katta Pal Scheme.
Director Livestock, Sajid Iqbal and Deputy Director Livestock, Tanveer Ashraf Kalyar briefed participants on departmental facilities and ongoing development projects. Member National Assembly, Malik Shakir Bashir Awan and Member Provincial Assembly, Malik Asif Bha also spoke, emphasizing the need for continued support and modernization of the livestock sector.
