Police Arrest Online Kite Supplier, Recover Over 150 Kites

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Aug, 2026) The police on Saturday raided a private housing society in the Kahna area and arrested a suspect involved in selling and supplying kites online.

The operation was conducted on a tip-off when the suspect, identified as Ahmed, arrived to deliver kites manufactured against online orders. Police recovered more than 150 kites from his possession and registered a case against him.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Model Town reiterated that a complete ban on kite flying and kite manufacturing remains in force across the division, warning that strict legal action will continue against violators.
