Nikah Date Set for Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s Daughter

A simple nikah ceremony will be held at Jati Umra on the evening of 12 September, with only the Sharif family and close relatives expected to attend, according to a private TV channel citing sources.

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Sep, 2026) The nikah ceremony of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s daughter, Mahnoor Safdar, will be held at 5pm on 12 September at Jati Umra.

According to sources, only the Sharif family and close relatives have been invited to the ceremony. The channel claimed, citing sources, that around 100 guests are expected to attend the event.

Maryam Nawaz had travelled to London on a private visit in recent days to attend her daughter’s graduation ceremony. Maryam Nawaz returned to Pakistan from London yesterday, accompanied by her daughter, whose nikah date has now been finalized. The ceremony will be held at Jati Umra on Saturday, 12 September. However, no information about the groom is available so far.
