Nvidia Plans Over 15% Price Hike for AI Servers Amid Rising Memory Costs
Nvidia is preparing to raise prices for its artificial intelligence servers by more than 15 percent for systems scheduled to begin shipping early next year, following a sharp rise in memory chip costs. According to Bloomberg, citing informed sources, this will cover systems equipped with Nvidia’s flagship Vera Rubin and Grace Blackwell chips, with new prices determined based on the chip generation and memory configuration.
Server manufacturers have begun notifying major data center operators, including Microsoft, Google, and Oracle, of the expected increases. Markets are awaiting Nvidia’s second-quarter financial results, due August 26th. The company is considered a key indicator of global AI sector performance.
