Over 300,000 Patients Served at Murree THQ Hospital: Annual Report
Tehsil Headquarter (THQ) Hospital Murree has released its annual performance report for the fiscal year running from July 2025 to June 2026, detailing patient intake across clinical, diagnostic, and emergency departments.
According to figures issued by the hospital administration:
- The facility treated 216,465 patients in the Outpatient Department (OPD).
- They attended to 78,584 emergency cases.
- They admitted 10,556 patients in the indoor wards over the 12-month period.
On the surgical and maternal health fronts:
- Medical staff managed 1,998 gynecology cases.
- 431 C-section procedures were performed.
- They conducted 132 major surgical operations.
- 909 critical patients were referred to tertiary care facilities.
Diagnostic services recorded significant volume:
- The hospital laboratory conducted 92,761 clinical tests.
- The radiology department executed 16,015 X-rays, 6,377 ultrasound scans, and 2,173 CT scans.
Hospital management reiterated that administrative operations are being aligned with Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif's vision to deliver accessible healthcare in tourist districts. Publishing the performance report reflects an ongoing commitment to transparency and merit-based public service.
