Over 5,400 Students Take MDCAT in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Sep, 2026) – More than 5,400 aspiring medical and dental students appeared in the University of Health Sciences (UHS) admission test in Faisalabad on Sunday. The examination centers at Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF) Old Campus and Divisional Public School & College (DPSC) provided a calm and well-managed environment for the candidates and their attendants.
A spokesman for the local administration stated that 5,408 candidates had registered for the test, including 3,945 female candidates at GCUF Old Campus and 1,463 male candidates at Divisional Public School & College.
He noted that comprehensive administrative and security arrangements were made at both examination centers to ensure a secure and smooth process. Dedicated parking facilities, shaded seating areas for parents and attendants, clean drinking water, and washroom facilities were among the provisions.
The spokesperson added that district administration and police officials monitored the arrangements throughout the test.
Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Nauman Siddiq emphasized that providing a peaceful and comfortable examination environment was the administration's top priority. He highlighted special attention given to parking arrangements, ensuring over 1,300 motorcycles and 1,000 cars were accommodated without disrupting traffic.
More than 50 workers from Faisalabad Parking Company assisted with managing vehicular movement, and no complaints regarding parking were received during the examination. The district administration ensured coordination among relevant departments to maintain security, facilitate candidate entry and exit, and address parents' needs.
Parents and attendants accompanying the candidates expressed satisfaction with the arrangements, praising the availability of basic facilities and orderly parking for a seamless examination process.
