Over 96,502 Innocent Kashmiris Killed Since 1989: Report

The Indian Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government has intensified its state terrorism and political injustice in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, particularly after 5 August 2019 when New Delhi revoked the region’s constitutional special status.
A report by the Research Section of Kashmir Media Service on International Day of Remembrance and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism stated that:
- Over 96,502 innocent Kashmiris have been martyred since January 1989, including women and young boys.
- At least 8000 people have gone missing while in custody.
- The Indian forces have:
- Widowed over 22,993 women.
- Orphaned more than 108,011 children.
- Molested at least 11,285 women during this period.
