Pakistan and China Conduct World's Highest Joint Patrolling Exercise at Mantika Pass
According to a spokesperson for the Gilgit-Baltistan Police, border forces of Pakistan and China undertook a joint patrolling exercise on September 15th at Mantika Pass, located at approximately 4,700 metres above sea level. This marks the highest joint patrolling exercise ever conducted worldwide.
The Khunjerab Security Police (KSP) faced a challenging two-day journey through high-altitude and difficult mountainous terrain to reach the designated meeting point. The exercise symbolized the strong friendship and close ties between Pakistan and China, reaffirming their commitment to strengthening cooperation, coordination, and mutual support.
It also highlighted the seamless coordination between the border forces of both countries in this challenging high-altitude region.
