Pakistan Proved Its Defence Capability To The World In Difficult Circumstances: Punjab Assembly Speaker

Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan has stated that Pakistan must prioritize economic stability, reducing inflation, improving social order, and achieving development targets, alongside its defence capabilities, to tackle current challenges.
He noted the business community's continued investment and economic activity despite difficult circumstances as a sign of hope.
The speaker highlighted Pakistan's effective demonstration of its defence capability during tensions with India, allowing the world to witness the country's military and technological capacity. He emphasized that while war is not the ultimate solution to state disputes, diplomacy, dialogue, and peace are crucial.
Khan added that Pakistan has also played a diplomatic role for peace alongside its defence efforts in challenging regional circumstances, which is encouraging. He called for Pakistan to improve its domestic economic and social conditions to match its global role.
He stressed the urgency of economic stability, reducing inflation, improving social order, and accelerating development while cautioning against frequent policy shifts and advocating for continuous and sustainable development.
The Punjab Assembly speaker congratulated the newly elected president and office-bearers of the Gujrat Chamber of Commerce and Industry, praising the mutual understanding and consensus during the elections as a reflection of the business community's political maturity.
