PESSI Commissioner Reviews Contribution Recovery, Worker Registration

Punjab Employees Social Security Institution (PESSI) Commissioner Zulfiqar Ali Kharal reviewed matters relating to contribution recovery, Maryam Nawaz Ration Card distribution, registration of new workers, and field inspections during a meeting held at the PESSI head office on Tuesday.
The meeting discussed in detail contribution recovery targets and the performance of various directorates. It also assessed progress on the Maryam Nawaz Ration Card initiative and new worker registrations.
Directors from Multan, Bahawalpur, and Muzaffargarh presented updates during the session, summarizing their respective directory performances.
Commissioner Kharal stated that F-View contribution recovery performance was satisfactory, but urged field officers to intensify efforts to achieve assigned targets. He emphasized expediting new worker registration and stressed the need for coordinated efforts across all directorates to maximize registrations.
Kharal noted that increasing worker registrations would facilitate access to social security benefits. He instructed concerned officials to continue the Workers Welfare Fund recovery process cohesively and enhance field inspections, focusing on achieving targets.
