Police Arrest 3 Suspects Selling Govt Hospital’s Medicines

The police have arrested three suspects allegedly involved in the illegal trade of selling Sindh government-funded medicines from Liaquat University Hospital (LUH) to privately run pharmacies.

According to a police spokesperson, the Market police conducted a raid based on a tip-off and apprehended Azaan Qureshi, Ahsaan Khan Qureshi, and Jamshed Ali Khaskheli. A significant amount of LUH medications was recovered from their possession.

During initial interrogation, the suspects named Saleh Shoro, Sajjad Brohi, and Saeed as accomplices in the racket. The Market police subsequently filed an FIR against them, charging them under Sections 380, 411, and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code.

The operation was led by SHO Market police station, Naek Muhammad Khoso.
