Police Arrest Drug Peddlers
Police have arrested eight suspects allegedly involved in the illegal trade of mainpuri, gutka and narcotic substances during separate operations in the city, police said on Thursday.
According to a police spokesperson, Market Police conducted raids at different locations and arrested Salman Manganhar alias Munda, Rehan Rajput, Azan Ali Rajput, Waseem Solangi and Rizwan Ali Shoro. Meanwhile, City Police arrested three more suspects identified as Baksh Ali Jaffri, Muhammad Ismail Maachi and Shakir Shaikh.
Police stated that further legal proceedings were underway against the arrested suspects.
