Police Recover Stolen Gold, Arrest Two Accused
Police have recovered stolen gold ornaments and arrested two suspects following a residential burglary in Pirpiai village. The incident was reported on August 23, 2026, by the daughter of a local resident, Gulfamuddin, who discovered her gold jewellery missing after returning from her nursing shift.
Upon receiving the report, Azakhel police launched an investigation and collected physical evidence from the crime scene. The probe led them to suspect the victim’s nephew, Shahzad, and his friend, both of whom confessed to the theft during interrogation. They also led police to the location where the stolen gold was hidden.
