PTI Worker Remanded In Police Vehicles Burning Case
PTI Worker Taqi Raza Khan has been remanded for 10 days by an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in a case related to the burning of police vehicles during the May 9 protests at Afshan Chowk.
The court heard that Khan was identified during an identification parade and needed to be physically present for further investigation. However, counsel for Khan opposed his arrest, arguing that he was already on interim bail in another case.
Despite prosecution arguments for a physical remand, the judge granted the 10-day remand. According to the prosecution, Khan has been charged under FIR No. 103/23 registered at Sarwar Road Police Station. The identification parade took place in jail as per court orders.
