Punjab Inclusive Art and Creativity Festival 2026 held at the Government Institute for Slow Learners, Alipura, providing children with special needs a platform to showcase their artistic and creative talents.

Deputy Commissioner (DC), Noor-ul-Ain Qureshi, attended the festival as the chief guest, along with Deputy Director Special Education Gujrat Sheraz Anwar Cheema, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) District Education Authority Akhtar Ali Khan, Deputy Director Special Education Tayyab Khurshed, focal person Misbah Rani, principals of special education institutions, teachers, and other officials.

The DC visited various stalls, appreciated the creative work of students, and interacted with them. She highlighted the Punjab government’s initiatives for the education, training, and welfare of children with special needs, including special schools, buses, and inclusive art festivals.

Students from eight special education institutions across the district participated, displaying their artwork and creative projects. The event concluded with appreciation for the students, teachers, and officials for their outstanding contributions.
