Rupee Gains 3 Paisa Against Dollar
The Rupee on Thursday appreciated by 3 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading, closing at Rs 277.57. This is compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs 277.60.
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs 278 and Rs 278.65, respectively.
The Euro’s price against the rupee increased by Rs 2.56, closing at Rs 324.55. The previous day’s closing was at Rs 321.99.
Other notable changes:
- Japanese Yen: Up by 1 paisa, closing at Rs 1.75
- British Pound: Witnessed an increase of Rs 2.16, closing at Rs 378.41 compared to the previous day’s Rs 376.25.
- Emirate Dirham and Saudi Riyal: Each came down by 1 paisa, closing at Rs 75.57 and Rs 73.92, respectively.
