Saudi Arabia is set to host the Riyadh Lions Festival, a regional event organized through a partnership between Tahaluf Company, the Saudi Ministry of Information, and the global Lions system. The festival aims to create a dedicated platform for creative marketing and effectiveness in the region.

Salman bin Yousef Al-Dosari, Saudi Information Minister, announced the event, which will take place from December 6-8, 2027 at King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) in Riyadh. The festival will bring together top marketing officials, creative leaders, advertising agencies, prominent brands, and emerging talent from the Middle East and around the globe.

The festival's program will focus on creative excellence, effectiveness, culture, and the future of the creative sector. Organizers aim to highlight the unique storytelling approaches of Middle Eastern creators and their impact on the global stage.

Al-Dosari emphasized the deep-rooted connection between creativity and storytelling in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, highlighting the contributions of a new generation shaping the region's creative narrative. He views the festival as a testament to Saudi Arabia's progress in creative industries, promoting local talent globally and fostering cultural exchange.

The event will also support the development of Saudi Arabia's creative economy by:

  • Attracting global experts and creative professionals to Saudi Arabia.
  • Facilitating knowledge transfer and skill development.
  • Encouraging investment, partnerships, and quality employment opportunities.
  • Empowering Saudi creators and connecting them with international markets.

Organizers believe this initiative will strengthen local institutions, diversify the national economy through creative industries, and promote the production of globally competitive Saudi content, solidifying Riyadh's position as a hub for creative activity.
