The Azad Kashmir Election Commission has formally issued the presidential election schedule and requested that the Legislative Assembly meet on September 24.

- Scrutiny of Nomination Papers: Same day, immediately after submission
- Withdrawal of Nomination Papers: September 23, 11:30 a.m.

- Returning Officer: Chief Election Commissioner of Azad Kashmir, Justice (retired) Ghulam Mustafa Mughal
The Chief Election Commissioner requested the Acting President of Azad Kashmir to summon a session of the Legislative Assembly on September 24 for the conduct of the presidential election.
