Sharjah Duo Shine At Shanghai Grand Prix World Powerboat Round
Sharjah Formula Team, affiliated with the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, continued its impressive run in the World Powerboat Championship, achieving a remarkable result at the Shanghai Grand Prix—a highly competitive event featuring top teams and drivers.
Stefan Arand and Grant Trask, members of the Sharjah Team, secured second and third places, respectively, showcasing the team's strength and their ability to vie for top positions in the international championship. Arand now leads the World Championship standings with 60 points, while Trask follows closely behind with 51 points.
The team also cemented its position as a strong contender for the World Team Championship title, placing second with 84 points. Ahmed Issa Al Hosani, Director General of the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, praised the team's performance at Shanghai Grand Prix, highlighting the drivers' exceptional skills and the team's overall success in securing second place in the general standings.
He expressed his enthusiasm for future competitions, emphasizing the need for continued hard work and thorough preparation.
