Sharjah Executive Council Discusses Lost Property Law, Services

SHARJAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM – 15th Sep, 2026) H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Vice Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council (SEC), chaired the Council’s meeting on Tuesday morning at the Sharjah Ruler’s Office.
Council Discussions
The Council explored a range of government-related topics, focusing on:
- Enhancing service quality and development
- Ensuring continuous improvement and innovation in government sectors
- Strengthening social cohesion and harmony
- Securing a decent standard of living for all segments of society.
Lost Property Law Draft
The Council discussed a draft law on the handling of lost and abandoned property in the Emirate of Sharjah. The proposal outlines procedures for receiving, safeguarding, returning, or disposing of such assets, adhering to legal controls and procedures. The Council instructed its General Secretariat to refer the draft law to the Sharjah Consultative Council for further discussion.
Digital Transformation
Additionally, the Council discussed efforts to develop government services across all sectors by adopting advanced systems. The aim is to implement proactive approaches, streamline customer service, and ensure services are more effective, efficient, high-quality, and prompt.
