SP Traffic Directs To Focus Lane Discipline For Smooth Traffic Flow
ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 27th Aug, 2026) Superintendent of Police (SP) Traffic Islamabad, Majid Iqbal, inspected various duty points across the Federal capital, overseeing action against lane violations and other traffic offences while directing officers to ensure smooth traffic flow.
An official stated that during these visits, SP Majid reviewed the enforcement of traffic laws and the performance of officers deployed at different duty points. Traffic police teams took action against motorists found violating lane discipline and other traffic rules.
Majid instructed the deployed officers to remain vigilant, ensure effective enforcement of traffic laws, and take necessary measures to prevent traffic congestion. He emphasized that enforcement should go hand-in-hand with traffic facilitation, maintaining road discipline without disrupting the smooth movement of vehicles.
The SP Majid also directed officers to closely monitor traffic conditions at their respective duty points and take timely measures wherever traffic flow was affected. He noted that effective enforcement of traffic laws and better traffic management are crucial to ensure safe and smooth travel for citizens across Islamabad.
