Amid speculation that something new may be about to happen, journalist and analyst Aamir Ilyas Rana said the government and state institutions have no differences, describing the rumours as sour grapes in a post on X.
Important disclosure from Aamir Ilyas Rana regarding rumours of alleged differences between the government and military and security institutions amid Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's proposed Sept 27 long march and ongoing political tensions in the country has emerged.
According to details, in a post on social media platform X, Rana stated that there were no differences whatsoever between the government and state institutions over national security, internal affairs, and the current political situation. He attributed the rumours to certain groups and political elements aiming to create the impression of strained relations between the establishment and the government.
Citing informed sources, he clarified that both circles had a unified stance: the propaganda was being deliberately spread to suggest a covert conspiracy or support behind the opposition's Sept 27 long march, while in reality, absolutely nothing of the sort existed.
The journalist emphasised that with regards to the current political and security situation, there was complete harmony between the government and state institutions, leaving no room for misinterpretation. He concluded that opposition efforts to create a rift among these institutions were merely wishful thinking.
