UAE Chess Arbiters To Officiate At Stockholm International Tournament

The UAE Chess Federation has signed a cooperation agreement with the organisers of the 2027 Stockholm Summer Open, enabling Emirati arbiters to officiate at the international tournament.
This agreement aligns with the Federation’s goal of:
- Developing the arbitration sector
- Strengthening international partnerships
- Equipping local arbiters with skills to keep pace with international chess officiating standards.
According to Saeed Al Khouri, Chairman of the Federation’s Arbiters Committee, the agreement will:
- Offer Emirati arbiters opportunities to officiate at international tournaments.
- Enhance their practical experience.
- Strengthen their presence at overseas competitions.
