Uranium and Raw Mineral Deposits Discovered Near Madinah

Saudi Arabia has discovered 110 million tons of raw mineral deposits containing uranium in the Jabal Sayid area near Madinah, according to Saudi state television.
Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman made the announcement during the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna, Austria.
He stated that geological surveys and drilling at the Jabal Sayid project, located 150 kilometers from Madinah, revealed estimated resources of approximately 110 million tons of raw material. The deposits also contain rare minerals and uranium.
