US Channel Helicopter Crashes During Live Coverage, Killing Three Including Reporter

An NBC News helicopter providing live coverage of a bus accident in Los Angeles crashed, killing a female reporter, the pilot, and another individual on the ground. The cause of the crash remains unknown. A danger alarm was heard moments before the incident as the helicopter lost altitude.

The helicopter caught fire after crashing, igniting at least four vehicles and two storage containers on the ground. Firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control.

A live feed from the helicopter, broadcast by NBC at the time of the crash, captured the alarm inside the cockpit.
