17,000 Private Hajj Bookings Completed, Rs14bn Transferred to Authorized Companies

(21 September 2026, 07:10 PM IST) ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Sep, 2026) As many as 17,000 bookings for private intending Hajj pilgrims have been completed through the Pak Hajj App, while Rs 14 billion has been transferred to the accounts of authorized Hajj companies through the National IT board’s digital Hajj portal.
According to the ministry spokesperson, Rs six billion has been collected online through one-LINK and bank cards.
He stated that 54,000 slots were still available under the private Hajj scheme.
Pilgrims can select their preferred package through the Pak Hajj App from the comfort of their homes. Payments for packages must be made exclusively through the Pak Hajj App.
“The Ministry will not be held liable for any fraud resulting from payments made through channels other than the Pak Hajj App,” the spokesperson said.
The deadline for booking under the private Hajj scheme through the Hajj portal is set for November 20.
