Gilani Expresses Grief Over Passing of Sheikh Ahmed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Sep, 2026) Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, on Monday, expressed deep sorrow and grief over the passing of Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, brother of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai.
He conveyed his heartfelt condolences to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Al Maktoum family, and the people of the United Arab Emirates on this profound loss.
Senator Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani stated that Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s passing is a deeply mournful loss. He offered prayers for the departed soul, asking that Almighty Allah grant eternal peace and provide strength to the bereaved family. "To Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return."
