The airport police stated that the suspect managed to bypass several security checkpoints without a ticket, passport, or travel documents and entered the departure briefing area prior to his arrest and the filing of a case against him.

Incident at the Airport

According to airport authorities, the individual in question spent some time wandering inside the airport lounge without a ticket before security personnel realized his presence. When he attempted to depart, ASF (presumed to be airport security force) members became suspicious after discovering that he lacked travel documentation.

Security Concerns and Investigation

The fact that the passenger could access the international departure area without a ticket raised significant questions regarding ASF security protocols. The suspect was detained and handed over to police. Following the incident, police took him into custody and initiated legal proceedings against Ahmad Ali, who was identified as a 35-year-old resident of Pasrur Tehsil in Sialkot District.

Legal Actions and Inquiries

Police registered a case under Section 420 against Ahmad Ali at Sarwar Road Police Station on charges of fraud. An inquiry has also been launched into the police personnel on duty and other relevant officials to determine their liability for any negligence or dereliction in securing the airport.
