APHC Warns BJP’s Kashmir Policy Threatens Peace, Stability In South Asia

ISLAMABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 18th Aug, 2026) The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has stated that the Indian BJP government’s rigid stance on resolving the Kashmir dispute and its policy of militarization pose a grave threat to peace and economic and political stability in South Asia.

According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesman Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas expressed this view in a statement issued in Srinagar, emphasizing that Pakistan advocates for global and regional peace. He added that achieving sustainable peace in South Asia necessitates addressing the core issue of Kashmir as per relevant UN resolutions and respecting the aspirations of the oppressed Kashmiri people, whose significant sacrifices are evident.

The statement highlighted the Indian government’s determination to pursue its Hindutva agenda in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), while the Kashmiris remain resolute in countering these malicious designs.
