ATC Rebukes Accused for Delays in November 26 Rangers Personnel Killing Case

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - September 30, 2026) | An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Wednesday rebuked the accused for repeatedly seeking adjournments in the November 26 protest case involving the crushing of Rangers personnel, and directed that the Islamabad High Court's order be produced at the next hearing.

Hearing

During the previous hearing, the accused, Hashim, appeared before ATC Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra along with his father. The judge reprimanded the accused, stating:

"You file applications to cause unnecessary delays. The court is giving you a last opportunity and also instructed to produce the High Court's order at the next hearing."

The judge further warned that any use of delaying tactics at the upcoming hearing would result in the appointment of a lawyer for the accused at government expense.

Prosecution Witnesses and Next Hearing

The court summoned prosecution witnesses for the next hearing, which has been adjourned until October 10. So far, six witness statements have been recorded in the case.

It is worth noting that a case against the accused is registered at Ramna Police Station.
