Central Bank Of Egypt Keeps Key Interest Rates Unchanged At 19%-20%
The Central Bank of Egypt’s (CBE) Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) kept its key interest rates unchanged at its latest meeting, maintaining a cautious stance as it assesses inflation trends and the economic outlook.
- The overnight deposit rate remained at 19%.
- The overnight lending rate was held at 20%.
- The rate of the main operation and the discount rate were also kept unchanged at 19.5% each.
