CPO Chairs Meeting Of Peace Committee

City Police Officer (CPO) Tanveer Hussain has called for collective efforts by police, religious scholars, and community representatives to safeguard peace and harmony, emphasizing that mutual cooperation between police and the public is the foundation of durable peace amid the prevailing national situation.
He expressed these views while chairing a meeting with members of the Peace Committee at the Police Community Engagement Center. During the meeting, various matters related to law & order, religious festivals, and the promotion of interfaith harmony, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence were discussed in detail.
The CPO stated that considering the current circumstances in the country, all segments of society need to contribute to maintaining peace and ensuring law & order. He appreciated the role of Peace Committee members in promoting peace and harmony, noting that their cooperation with the police had consistently been commendable.
