DIG Ali Waseem Meets Radio Pakistan Delegation to Discuss Stronger Police-Media Coordination
ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Sep, 2026) A delegation led by Radio Pakistan Director News Amanullah Supra met with Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Islamabad Ali Waseem on Wednesday to discuss ways to strengthen coordination between police and media, as well as promote public awareness.
An official revealed that the delegation included Deputy Controller News Muhammad Akram Khan, Zahid Hamid (Director Media Workers Welfare Funds), Chaudhry Zameer Ashraf (Director), and PTV Senior Producer Malik Sher Zaman. During the meeting, both parties exchanged views on matters of mutual interest and emphasized the importance of effective communication between police and media.
They also discussed strategies to utilize better communication and public awareness to provide citizens with timely and beneficial information.
