Drug Supplier Sentenced to 10 Years Imprisonment and Fine of Rs 100,000
RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Sep, 2026) A local court sentenced a drug supplier to 10 years of rigorous imprisonment and imposed a fine of Rs 100,000.0 after finding him guilty of narcotics trafficking, on Wednesday.
The convict, Fazal Rabbi, was arrested by Kallar Syedan Police in 2025 following the recovery of 1,550 grams of hashish from his possession. Police registered a case against the accused, completed the investigation, and submitted a detailed charge sheet supported by forensic and physical evidence before the court.
A Rawalpindi police spokesperson reaffirmed that strict legal measures and targeted operations against narcotics peddlers will continue across the district.
