Emirates and Al Etihad Payments Partner to Enable Jaywan Payments for Travel Bookings from 16 September

DUBAI (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM – 15th Sep, 2026) Emirates and Al Etihad Payments have signed an agreement to facilitate customers’ use of Jaywan, the UAE’s national card scheme, for booking Emirates flights. This move expands payment options for travel originating from Dubai.

The agreement was sealed by Abdulla Al Olama, Vice President Commercial Operations (UAE) at Emirates, and Andrea Cianchetti, Chief Product Officer (CPO) at Al Etihad Payments, in the presence of senior officials from both organizations.

Starting 16th September, 2026, customers can utilize Jaywan cards, including the Jaywan Royal Debit Card, Jaywan Prestige Debit Card, and Jaywan Prepaid Card, for online bookings through emirates.com or at Emirates Retail stores.

Jaywan cardholders will enjoy discounts on all cabin classes and fare types for one-way and return trips departing from Dubai. This offer is valid for bookings made from 16th September, 2026, until 31st August, 2027, for travel until 29th February, 2028.

Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, stated that incorporating Jaywan into the airline’s payment options represents a significant step in enhancing the booking experience by providing customers with greater flexibility and convenience through a developing national payments ecosystem.

Tariq Al Hawi, Chief Operating Officer at Al Etihad Payments, expressed that this partnership reinforces Jaywan’s commitment to offering more than just a payment solution, by delivering tangible value and a seamless experience for cardholders. Accepting Jaywan cards through emirates.com and Emirates Retail stores provides customers with enhanced choice, flexibility, and convenience, while exclusive fares across all cabin classes showcase how Jaywan connects everyday payments with meaningful benefits and experiences.
