Etihad Airways and Etihad Rail Collaborate to Enhance UAE Air-rail Transport Integration

An agreement signed during the Arabian Travel Market brings together two key transport networks in the UAE, sharing a vision to develop an integrated mobility ecosystem. This initiative aims to support tourism growth, economic diversification, and sustainable transport.
Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the organizations will explore various initiatives:

Improving Connectivity: Studying opportunities to enhance connections between Zayed International Airport and Mohammed Bin Zayed City Passenger Station through dedicated shuttle services.

Seamless Travel Experience: Developing integrated air and rail booking experiences, station-based passenger services, and other innovations for a more convenient journey from origin to destination.
Arik De, Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer of Etihad Airways, expressed enthusiasm:
