Faisalabad DC Orders Officers To Ensure Swift Resolution Of Public Issues

FAISALABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 21st Aug, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Noman Siddique on Friday directed officers to regularly visit the field and ensure prompt resolution of public complaints in line with the vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

Meeting Directives:

  • Daily Reports: He ordered daily reports on the performance of Suthra Punjab and the city’s cleanliness situation.
  • Sewage Water Clearance: Directed officials to coordinate with WASA for immediate clearance and drainage of sewage water.
  • Cleanliness Arrangements: Ensured quality cleanliness arrangements at the city’s entry and exit points.

Public Welfare Initiatives:

  • Park Improvement, Painting & Safety Measures: Asked Assistant Commissioners to present monthly public welfare initiatives including park improvement, wall painting, lane marking, and traffic safety measures.
  • Paddle Courts and Cricket Arenas: Directed steps for establishing paddle courts and cricket arenas in every tehsil for youth recreational opportunities.

Metro Routes & Vendor Management:

  • Metro Route Inspection: Assistant Commissioners were directed to regularly inspect metro routes, remove encroachments, and improve traffic flow.
  • Vendor Locations: Carts should not be allowed on main roads; alternative locations for vendors must be arranged.

Citizen Interaction:

  • Visits to Government Offices: Ordered visits to Sub-Registrar offices, Land Record Centers, and e-Khidmat Centers to directly interact with citizens and assess service delivery and public grievances.

Attendees:

Additional Deputy Commissioners Anwar Ali, Mudassar Mumtaz, Murad Hussain Nekokara, Sara Zainab, and Sharina Janjua, along with Assistant Commissioners Adil Umar and Dr. Zulqarnain, attended the meeting.
