Fujairah Chamber Joins Belarus Economic Forum, Signs Cooperation Agreement With Minsk Chamber
A delegation from the Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry participated in the fifth International Forum for Economic Cooperation, held in Minsk, Belarus. This was part of the Chamber’s initiative to expand economic cooperation and strengthen trade and investment ties between Fujairah and Belarus.
The delegation comprised:
- Dr. Ali Mohammed Al Mulla, Vice Chairman of the Chamber’s board of directors
- Marwan Khamis Al Sheikh and Ali Mohammed Al Kaabi, members of the Board of Directors
- Sultan Jemei Al Hindassi, Director-General of the Chamber
During the forum’s opening, Al Mulla delivered a speech, emphasizing the importance of strengthening economic ties between the UAE and Belarus. He highlighted the advantages offered by the UAE, particularly Fujairah, and expressed the Chamber’s willingness to explore various cooperative opportunities with Belarus.
The event led to the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Fujairah Chamber and the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The agreement aims to:
- Develop economic cooperation
- Facilitate exchanges between delegations
- Organize events to support collaborative efforts
- Encourage trade and investment partnerships, small and medium-sized enterprises, and the exchange of economic knowledge
During their visit, the Chamber’s representatives toured the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) and met with Belarusian companies, exploring potential business opportunities.
