GCC to Host Six DP World Tour Events on 2027 Global Schedule

DUBAI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News / WAM - 16th Sep, 2026) The GCC will stage six tournaments on the DP World Tour's 2027 global schedule, which was announced today.
2027 Calendar Overview:
The region hosts four consecutive weeks of golf at the start of the calendar year, with the Race to Dubai concluding in the UAE in November.
- Team Cup: Abu Dhabi Golf Resort, January 15-17
- Hero Dubai Desert Classic: Emirates Golf Club, January 21-24
- Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship: Royal Golf Club, January 28-31
- Qatar Masters: Doha Golf Club, February 3-6
The season returns to the UAE for its finale:
- DP World Tour Play-Offs: Abu Dhabi Championship at Yas Links, November 4-7
- DP World Tour Championship, Dubai: Earth Course at Jumeirah Golf Estates, November 11-14
Key Highlights:
- Three Rolex Series events in the UAE: Hero Dubai Desert Classic, Abu Dhabi Championship, and DP World Tour Championship, Dubai.
- Return of historic tournaments: Hong Kong Open, Deutsche Bank Singapore Open, and Open de Portugal|Cascais-Lisboa.
- Adjustments due to 2027 Ryder Cup: Amgen Irish Open, FedEx Open de France, and BMW PGA Championship.
