Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) President Farooq Yousaf Sheikh said that the opening of Google’s first physical office in Pakistan could turn the country’s vast digital potential into a more organized economic force. He believes this unlocking of opportunities in technology exports, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, digital payments, and global freelancing is a game changer.
Welcoming the global technology giant’s presence, Sheikh stated that it reflects growing international confidence in Pakistan’s technology sector and will significantly accelerate the country’s digital transformation. He further emphasized that Pakistan has the potential to earn billions of Dollars through its expanding digital economy in the coming years.
To fully realize this potential, Sheikh called for stronger collaboration between:
