Hazza Bin Zayed Receives Delegation from Abu Dhabi Sports Council and Abu Dhabi Falconers' Club
H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain Region, has received a delegation from the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and Abu Dhabi Falconers’ Club, reviewing key plans and programs to further develop the sports sector in the region.
During the meeting, Sheikh Hazza was briefed on the council’s vision for growing the region’s sports sector, including hosting championships, increasing community sports participation, and supporting traditional sports like falconry.
The delegation presented upcoming sporting events in Al Ain Region, such as running races, half marathons, and community sports events, as well as stages of the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge and a round of the Abu Dhabi Baja Challenge.
They also provided an overview of Abu Dhabi Falconers’ Club activities, programs, and efforts to preserve falconry as part of Emirati heritage. His Highness was introduced to the Arabian Saluki Championship and its role in preserving and promoting this cultural legacy.
