HCSTSI Delegation Attends 3rd Convocation of Government College University

HYDERABAD, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – August 20, 2026) A delegation from the Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders & Small Industry, led by Vice President Shan Sehgal, attended the 3rd convocation of Government College University Hyderabad. The event was graced by the presence of the chief guest, Provincial Minister for Universities and Boards, Muhammad Ismail Rahoo, while Prof. Dr. Moazzam Ali Khan presided over the ceremony as the Vice Chancellor.

On this occasion, Chamber Vice President Shan Sehgal extended his congratulations to the administration, faculty, and graduating students of Government College University Hyderabad. He emphasized the importance of strong links between universities and the industrial and business sector, stating that effective university-industry liaison is crucial to provide quality internships, training, and better employment opportunities for new graduates.

Sehgal highlighted the Hyderabad Chamber’s commitment to fostering connections with universities in Sindh, aiming to enhance the future prospects and career development of educated youth. He noted that the chamber strives to bring universities and businesses closer together to align education with practical field needs and create employment opportunities.

The delegation also met with Prof. Dr. Moazzam Ali Khan, various deans, and other senior officials of the university. The meeting discussed mutual cooperation, internship programs, industrial linkages, and job creation for graduates. The university administration extended an invitation to the Hyderabad Chamber delegation to visit the university and further strengthen future joint collaborations.

Sehgal affirmed the chamber’s ongoing efforts to collaborate with universities in Sindh to promote educational and industrial ties, ensuring practical experiences, internships, and better employment prospects for qualified youth. The delegation also included Furqan Ahmed Lodhi, Secretary General of the Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders & Small Industries.
