WASHINGTON, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Sep, 2026) New images have emerged showing destruction at US bases in the middle East caused by Iranian missile and drone attacks.

CBS claimed the exclusive images reveal, for the first time, extensive damage at several US bases in the region resulting from Iranian missile and drone strikes.

According to the US outlet, one official stated: "This is the enormous damage inflicted on our bases that the American public has been kept unaware of."

One image from Saudi Arabia’s Prince Sultan Air Base shows a Boeing E-3 Sentry aircraft targeted in an Iranian attack, with its tail severed from its burned-out fuselage. The aircraft was equipped with a radar system considered vital for gathering intelligence during flight. Other images from the same base show destroyed buildings and barracks reduced to their structural frames.

Similar images have also emerged from Kuwait’s Camp Buehring, a major hub for US ground forces, armored vehicles, and some aircraft. The camp is located in a remote desert area northwest of Kuwait City.

Earlier this week, the US Department of Defense inspector general issued a fresh report on the Iran war, disclosing equipment losses worth $3.7 billion, including approximately 60 destroyed aircraft.

The Pentagon did not respond to a request for comment.
