Indian Proxies’ Inimical Designs To Be Defeated Through Collective National Resolve: COAS
RAWALPINDI, (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 21st Aug, 2026) Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, has reiterated that the inimical designs of Indian proxies will be defeated through the collective resolve of the nation and Pakistan’s decisive response.
During a meeting with notables and political leaders from Balochistan, the COAS stated that Fitna al Khawarij and Fitna al Hindustan, both foreign-sponsored proxies, are being used by hostile elements to disrupt development in the province and create divisions between the state and its people. This is according to a news release issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The COAS emphasized that the future of Balochistan and Pakistan are intertwined. He praised the province’s talented, resilient, patriotic, and proud people. Furthermore, he highlighted that achieving peace and stability, along with a clear national narrative, is crucial to unlocking Balochistan’s economic potential and attracting investments.
Field Marshal Munir noted that young Baloch have immense talent and opportunities, making them vital for Pakistan’s progress. He stressed the importance of empowering youth and providing them with avenues to contribute to the nation’s development.
He expressed gratitude for the role played by notables and society leaders in promoting peace and a constructive national discourse. The COAS called for countering hostile propaganda and exposing false narratives, emphasizing that Balochistan’s true potential will be showcased. He concluded by stating that the destiny of the region lies in the hands of its people.
