Kohat Police Arrest Five Suspects, Recover Weapons, Motorcycle

KOHAT: (APP – UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News) – Kohat Police have made a significant breakthrough by apprehending five suspects involved in diverse crimes including murder, in separate operations across the district.
According to police sources, Cantonment Police successfully traced and arrested two brothers, Mohsin and Basit, accused of murdering a youth named Aqib. The victim was shot dead on August 9th, leading to the registration of an FIR at Cantonment Police Station following the complain by Aqib’s father.
District Police Officer (DPO) Kohat, SSP Rai Mazhar Iqbal, promptly directed police to apprehend the culprits. Police also recovered the murder weapon and the motorcycle used in the crime.
In another successful operation targeting criminal elements, Jungle Khel Police arrested three suspects following orders from DPO Rai Mazhar Iqbal. These included:
- Abu Hurairah, wanted for murder and attempted murder.
- Sulaiman, a proclaimed offender with outstanding cases of robbery and dacoity.
- Mati.
Police seized weapons from their possession and shifted them to Jungle Khel Police Station for further legal proceedings.
