Mayor Karachi Conducts Late-night Visit to Review Civic Situation
Karachi’s Mayor, Barrister Murtaza Wahab, embarked on a late-night expedition across various city areas, aiming to assess the civic situation firsthand. Accompanied by officials from the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation, and other relevant departments, he visited I.I. Chundrigar Road, Kharadar, Mithadar, and Old City Areas.
The Mayor inspected ongoing beautification and development projects, receiving detailed updates on progress from concerned authorities. He meticulously examined road conditions, footpaths, and municipal arrangements, ensuring no aspect of the city’s infrastructure remained unnoticed.
During his visit, Barrister Murtaza emphasized the importance of quality in development works and taking immediate action to address citizen concerns. He stated that understanding the city’s issues through direct interaction with residents is crucial, promising unwavering dedication to resolving their problems.
In a meeting with citizens, the Mayor listened attentively to their grievances regarding roads, cleanliness, and other municipal matters. Promptly addressing these concerns, he issued critical instructions to relevant officials, demanding efficient solutions. He stressed the need for close coordination among departments and timely project completion, upholding the highest standards of work quality.
