Minister Expresses Grief Over Deaths Of Father, Son In Multan Sewerage Incident

Federal Minister for Human Rights, Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, on Saturday, expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of a father and his son due to toxic gas in a sewerage line in Multan. He emphasized the need for the effective implementation of safety guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to protect human lives, particularly those working in hazardous conditions.

The Minister contacted Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif by telephone to discuss the tragic incident. They agreed on strengthening safety measures, ensuring compliance with SOPs, and providing protective equipment to workers engaged in dangerous tasks.

Senator Tarar offered heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the departed souls and patience for their loved ones.
