PML-Q Leader and Coordinator Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Khawaja Rameez Hassan Attends Dinner
UrduPoint (August 21, 2026) – PML-Q leader and coordinator Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis, Khawaja Rameez Hassan, attended a dinner hosted by the Vice Chairman of the Overseas Pakistanis Commission, Provincial Minister Barrister Amjad Malik. The event also saw the presence of Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Punjab Rashid Nasrullah, Punjab Government Spokesperson Syed Kausar Kazmi, Sheikh Saeed (President of PML-N Saudi Arabia), MPA Rahila Khadim, and representatives from the overseas community and bureaucracy from various countries.
As quoted by Khawaja Rameez Hassan, he stated that:
Overseas Pakistanis are the backbone of our country’s economy. The billions of rupees they send monthly contribute significantly to our economic stability.
He further praised Barrister Amjad Malik’s efforts in addressing the issues of overseas Pakistanis and providing them with state benefits through his continuous visits to different countries. Hassan highlighted the Vice Chairman’s initiative of holding open courts to resolve overseas-related matters, emphasizing it as practical evidence of the Overseas Commission’s proactive activities.
